As you all know, adult coloring books are a thing. A truly awesome and therapeutic thing. And who knew that this medium could make HBO’s famously dark fantasy series Game Of Thrones feel so euphoric?

HBO’s Game of Thrones Coloring Book is the perfect way to wind down at the end of a long day, or sit back on a day off when you finally get some time to yourself. Each illustration, by Allan Jefferson and/or Adriana Melo, is meticulously and artfully outlined to mimic scenes from the beloved series.

While we wait for Season 7 to arrive in Summer 2017, this creative book is here to bring us back to Westeros with images of Jon and Ghost, Sansa, Khaleesi and her Unsullied, the brothers of the Night’s Watch, Tyrion, Arya and Needle, Brienne in all of her fierceness, the ultimate charmer Prince Oberyn Martell, and more. If you’re feeling a bit evil, there’s always the White Walkers and their corpse horses, Cersei Lannister, the Lady Melisandre, or the Sons of the Harpy. Are you a little rough around the edges with a heart of gold? The Hound is just waiting to be brought to life as he is sitting on an ornately decorated chair and looking more knightly than I believe he would appreciate.

If you’re looking for something a little bit less challenging, you can spend some time filling in the house sigils and banners. There’s something for everyone. And regardless of how your masterpiece turns out, I’ll bet you’re going to feel good (or ready to take on the Seven Kingdoms) when you complete it.

For my first session, I chose to color Sansa. I love all the possibilities for using rich, vibrant hues from her fiery hair to the green of her gloves. The drawing looks just like actress Sophie Turner and I think my additions to the art came out quite beautifully, if I do say so myself. Check out my handiwork just below:
