‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2’ Will Have Five Post-Credits Scenes
  |  @   |

It’s customary for true Marvel fans to stay throughout the entire credits of any Marvel Studios film. Whatever scene appears during said credits will either be a nice segue into the next chapter of the MCU or a teaser.

There is no standard number when it comes to how many end-credits scenes a film should have. But we now know Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will have five of them. More on the story below.

Writer and director James Gunn confirmed that there will be five post-credits scenes during the sequel. Here’s his tweet:

It’s hard to guess what these scenes could be, but if we were just to base what they could be on the first Guardians of the Galaxy, then it is safe to say they will be more comedic than anything else. Again, we haven’t seen the film yet and revealing what they are exactly would simply take away from their enjoyment. As some of you may recall, some post-credit scenes were held back from the press. Avengers and the first Guardians of the Galaxy did just that.

While Marvel Studios isn’t the first to have a post-credit scene, they have revolutionized the idea. Now other studios have followed suit. And it’s not just for superhero films. These added scenes have appeared in 22 Jump Street, a few Pixar films, and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel as Baby Groot, and Bradley Cooper as Rocket. Also returning are Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, and Sean Gunn. They will be joined by Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan, Tommy Flanagan, Laura Haddock, Sylvester Stallone, and Kurt Russell.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is set to open in theaters on May 5, 2017.
