000: No Place For The Faithful – The Dominant Paradigm: An American Gods Podcast
  |  @   |

The Dominant Paradigm is a weekly podcast where hosts Dwayne D, Andrew Sorcini, and Tosin Onafowokan discuss STARZ’s American Gods, the works that inspired it, and the larger questions about the lenses in which we see our world.

Welcome to the premiere episode of The Dominant Paradigm podcast. The truth is that the chances are — you’re already here. As STARZ gets ready to launch its highly anticipated new series American Gods, Geeks of Doom is proud to present a companion podcast, The Dominant Paradigm. In this first episode, hosts Dwayne D and Andrew Sorcini introduce themselves, and discuss how excited they are to cover the new content coming out of STARZ and the minds of Neil Gaiman, the acclaimed author and concept creator behind American Gods, and Bryan Fuller, the storied showrunner. Each podcast episode will go beyond fan theories to look deeply at the text, as well as the inspirational sources of the characters, and their motivations in our world, as they search for their place in the dominant paradigm.

Join us each week for an intelligent, entertaining discussion of STARZ’s latest hit series. Leave comments below, or on our very likable Facebook page, tweet us @GodsPodcast and send us email or voice memos at AmericanGodsPod@gmail.com.

The first episode of American Gods airs on Sunday, April 30, 2017 on Starz. Our review episode should be up and ready to download the following day, May 1st. In the meantime, you can take a look at the profiles of the pantheon or check out the American Gods trailer below:
