Last week on Prison Break, Sara (Sarah Wayne Callies) camped out by a friend after T-Bag (Robert Knepper) showed her a pic of Jacob (Mark Feuerstein) talking to the assassins. He finally convinced her to come to the police station, where he gave her an excuse and had her pick them out of a lineup. Michael (Wentworth Miller) finally told Lincoln (Dominic Purcell) why he disappeared – it was for their real amnesty deals. Poseidon had him break people out of prisons all over the world. After unsuccessfully jumping on a train out of Yemen, the boys headed to the airport just a tad too late. C-Note and Sheba (Rockmond Dunbar, Inbar Lavi) had to leave without them.

Spoilers below for tonight’s episode of Prison Break!

Prison Break: Resurrection 1.6 “Phaecia” review: The guys have to formulate a new escape plan. Ja (Rick Yune) feels hemmed in. Lincoln says, “That’s what being locked up does. You carry the prison with you on the outside.” He suggests Sheba’s guy, Omar (Akin Gazi), who is headed across the desert to Phaecia. If they retrieve his other vehicle, he’ll help them. They all go except Whip (Augustus Prew). But he lied about the battery and knocks Whip out. Soon, a truck full of guns start chasing the others, but they get away amidst machine gun fire. Whip gets a few revenge punches and a promise of death. But they still need Omar, so they follow him to the desert.

The assassins make bail and talk about the plan – kill Kaniel Outis.

Kellerman’s replacement tells his boss that Kellerman had nothing but dead ends. She wants him to look for an insider “anywhere along the evidence chain.” We all knew even before he picked up the phone that HE is the insider. He calls A&W (Marina Benedict), whom we find out used to work for the NSA. SHe gets eyes on the traveling party and sends a drone out there to kill Michael. Van Gogh (Steve Mouzakis) sneaks away and give up the location to ISIL. I don’t know which way is up anymore. The NSA lady gets pissed and throws them out, so naturally, they go to Graceland (???).

Michael reaches out to Poseidon. After being cut out of the killing party Cyclops (Amin El Gamal) follows. Whip explodes a tanker and that band of ISIL is wiped. Michael sends a screenshot to whomever he got in touch with. Cyclops catches up and kills Omar. They are lost in the desert.

The plan is to get Cyclops to follow one of the cars while the other car gets away. Michael does the rock equivalent of drawing straws, but Michael fixes it so he goes (called it). Cyclops takes the bait. Lincoln, Ja, and Whip see seagulls and follow them, until they find Phaecia.

Michael sets his car rolling and sneaks to the back of the other car when Cyclops steps out. They fight and Michael stabs him in the other eye. Cyclops stabs him in the side as a parting gift before Michael drives away. Michael searches for Linc’s tracks. His car breaks down (of course it does), and he wanders the desert, his life flashing (Prison Break scenes flashing) before his eyes.

Ja has an idea – set off the fireworks as a signal to lost Michael (I wrote this before I watched it). He stumbles into view, but they need a doctor. He’s dying.

The intrigue continues as the boys have to get through so much danger in the desert, but in the meantime, people can watch their struggles from across the globe. What the hell is going on? This is a really good mystery. This episode was so exciting with more death you cheer (Cyclops) and other death you don’t (Omar – you could tell he was a good guy despite the deception).

Next week promises the real identity of Poseidon. Who could it be? I thought it was Jacob, but maybe not.

Brief thoughts:

– Graceland is cool, but I don’t get it.

– Sucre returns next week. Yay!

– I am not happy that there are 3 episodes left and Michael and Sara have not been reunited.

– More Robert Knepper, please.

– I can’t wait for someone to kill the assassins.
