For those who still love to participate in viral marketing campaigns, finding the first video for Pacific Rim: Uprising is just for you, and just in time for San Diego Comic-Con.

Set 10 years after the first film, Uprising sees a new breed of Jaeger pilots defending the earth from the threat of the Kaiju. The video acts as a recruitment video, in which John Boyega‘s character tries to get the viewer to join the Jaeger uprising.

According to the viral site, if you decide to join the cause, you will be given your very own Driven by state-of-the-art Halograph technology, the 25-story tall Jaegers have never responded more precisely to human movement. Strap in and save the world. These Jaegers are not like the ones we saw in the first film. They have a sleeker frame and high-octane burst repulsors, and are an extension of your body. You basically have an entire arsenal at your fingertips, as the Jaeger is equipped with plasma blades, elbow rockets, and the formidable Gravity Sling, a weapon that turns everything into a weapon.

Among some of the new Jaegers that you’ll be seeing in the film are:

• GIPSY AVENGER – Gipsy Avenger honors the heroic legacy of her namesake as the flagship leader of the Mark VI fleet. More than just a Jaeger, she is a symbol of hope to millions.
• BRACER PHOENIX – A Mark V brute that can still run with the VI’s, Bracer Phoenix shoots from the chest, with a centrifugal vortex cannon that is as spectacular as it is deadly.
• SABER ATHENA – The sleekest and most elegant Jaeger ever created, Saber Athena is the fastest in the fleet, wielding twin blades in hyper-acrobatic combat.
• TITAN REDEEMER – Built for brute force and armed with a seismic morningstar, Titan Redeemer is the walking wrecking ball of the new fleet.
• GUARDIAN BRAVO – Designed for combat at range, Guardian Bravo wields the Elec-16 Arc Whip: a proto-metallic successor to the chain sword, and brings a new sophistication to the chainsword’s whiplash move.

But since the film is still months away from release, this is just a teaser and nothing else. It’s just a recruitment video featuring the Jaeger’s capabilities and blueprints. We don’t even get to see a human character until the end of it where Boyega tries to recruit you to join the program.

Directed by Steven DeKnight, Pacific Rim: Uprising also stars Scott Eastwood, Jing Tian, Wesley Wong, Lily Ji, Lan Yingying, Qian Yongchen, Zhang Jin, Cailee Spaeny, and Chen Zitong.
