Paramount Pictures has released the first trailer for mother! from Oscar nominated Requiem for a Dream, The Fountain, The Wrestler, and Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky.

The psychological thriller features an impressive cast, toplined by Academy Award winners Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem as a couple whose relationship is put to the test when uninvited guests show up at their home.

Also starring is four-time Oscar nominee Ed Harris, three-time nominee Michelle Pfeiffer, brothers Domhnall Gleeson and Brian Gleeson, Kristen Wiig, Stephen McHattie, Jovan Adepo, and more.

Aronofsky’s mother! is set to be released on September 15th.
