New ‘Justice League’ Trailer Drops Sunday, Character Posters Released
  |  @   |

It’s been a bumpy production for Justice League. Changing directors, reshoots, and mustache problems, it almost seemed like the project was doomed to fail. But many fans remain intrigued by the thought of DC’s best heroes uniting together for an ensemble film.

Though trailers have garnered mixed reactions, the film is still one of the most anticipated blockbusters of the fall season. And to make sure it stays that way, Warner Bros. will be releasing one more trailer this Sunday. Plus there are a few new character posters. Because what’s an ensemble superhero movie without character posters. Check them out below.

The trailer drop announcement was made earlier this morning, along with the character posters, via Twitter. But the interesting thing about this trailer is that it will be the first one since Joss Whedon was named the director of the film. While the first trailer was obviously cut and edited in Zack Synder‘s vision, the second came right after Snyder stepped down and Whedon took over. Now that Whedon has had time to work on the reshoots, it seems that we will be getting a trailer that is in his voice while also staying true to Snyder’s vision.

Here’s the official plot synopsis:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes””Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash””it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

And here are the character posters. It’s going to be fun to read the comments on Cyborg’s poster, because in all honesty, it does not look good. Of course, that is just a poster, he obviously looks completely different in the footage that we’ve seen. But still, that poster looks hilariously bad. And you may have also noticed how all of the heroic emblems are colored in for each respective hero, leaving one Superman poster that is just waiting to be released.

Starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, and Jason Momoa, Justice League opens in theaters on November 17, 2017.
