‘Ash vs Evil Dead’ Season 3 Airdate Revealed!
  |  @   |

FINALLY! We officially have a start date for Season 3 of Ash vs Evil Dead, which will consist of 10 half-hour episodes, and it is”¦ Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 9PM. This comes after Starz had been treading water on announcing an airdate despite the season being completely wrapped months ago. Fan of the blood-soaked horror comedy were in panic mode, fearing the worst after the cable network failed to advertise it over the summer. In its first two seasons, Ash vs Evil Dead had debuted on or near Halloween. The announcement became official right in time for this year’s New York Comic-Con, where the crew from AvED will take over Hammerstein Ballroom for their panel on Saturday.

In Season 2, Ash (Bruce Campbell) and his trusted companions, Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo) and Pablo (Ray Santiago) went back in time to before the original Evil Dead movie, continuing their battle with the Necronomicon and the forces of evil. Ruby (Lucy Lawless), once their enemy was now an ally as they faced off the demon Baal. On the upcoming season, “Ashy Slashy” is no more, and now Ash is trying to revel in his fame and glory as a savior in his hometown of Elk’s Grove. The gang face new challenges, including quite possibly for Ash, the most challenging threat of all”¦ fatherhood! That’s right, the world’s suavest lothario ends up having a long-lost daughter Brandy Barr, played by newcomer Arielle Carver-O’Neill.

Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert, and Campbell are all back as Executive Producers along with Ivan Raimi and Rick Jacobson, while the series gets a new showrunner in Mark Verheiden.

Tomorrow at NYCC, the stars of the series will be at Hammerstein Ballroom on 34th Street in Manhattan for a 12:30pm panel. Having been at their panel the past two years, you do NOT want to miss it as the cast is great, they do long Q&A sessions with countless fans, and (fingers crossed) they may be premiering an episode of the new season. Ash himself, Bruce Campbell, will be there with cast mates DeLorenzo, Santiago, and Carver-O’Neill. If you need to catch up on Season 1 & Season 2 of AvED, subscribe to Starz and watch free through Amazon Prime, or get them on Blu-Ray and DVD.

Also, if you’re going to be at NYCC, there will be an Autograph Signing 3pm – 4pm at the Javits Convention Center at Table 21 in the Autographing Area Hall 1-B.
