Back in April, we got our first look at the highly anticipated sequel Star Wars: The Last Jedi with a lengthy teaser trailer, which premiered at Star Wars Celebration. Now, Lucasfilm has announced that the first full trailer for the follow-up to 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be released tomorrow night!
The trailer will debut on ESPN during Monday Night Football this Monday night, October 9th, during halftime of the NFL game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Chicago Bears in Chicago, which begins at 5:15pm PDT/8:15pm EDT.
We’ll have the trailer up to watch here at Geeks Of Doom soon after its television debut, so be sure to check back Monday night!
After the launch of the trailer, tickets for The Last Jedi, which hits theaters in the U.S. on December 15, 2017, will go on sale everywhere movie tickets are sold.
In Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the Skywalker saga continues as the heroes of The Force Awakens join the galactic legends in an epic adventure that unlocks age-old mysteries of the Force and shocking revelations of the past.
The film stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern and Benicio Del Toro. Star Wars: The Last Jedi is written and directed by Rian Johnson and produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman. J.J. Abrams, Tom Karnowski and Jason McGatlin are the executive producers.
Also, Star Wars had a big presence at this weekend’s New York Comic-Con. Today is the last day of the Con, so if you plan on attending, there’s still some time to visit some Star Wars-related booths, including the The Last Jedi booth and prop gallery.
