Halloween 2017 Programming: Here’s What To Watch

A lot of networks have been running Halloween and horror-themed programming all through October. And since Halloween is only days away, the next few days are packed with great movies and TV shows to watch for the season.

Below are a few standout selections to watch this weekend and leading up to Halloween this Tuesday, October 31, 2017.

AMC’s Fearfest

-Saturday, October 28 at 3pm ET/PT, the “Leprechaun-a-thon” begins with Leprechaun: Origins, Leprechaun, Leprechaun 2, Leprechaun 3, Leprechaun 4, Leprechaun in the Hood and Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood
-Sunday, October 29 at 7:30am ET/PT, the “Day of the Undead” movie marathon begins with Night of the Living Dead, Army of Darkness, House of the Dead, House of the Dead 2, Land of the Dead and Dawn of the Dead

NBC

We have to mention that NBC will be airing their David S. Pumpkins Animated Halloween Special on Saturday, October 28 at 11:30/10:30c. This is a spin-off of the Saturday Night Live sketch that featured Tom Hanks as the title character.

Amazon

Amazon Prime streaming recently launched their 6-episode series Lore, terrifying stories based on real people and events,

Hulu

Hulu has offered up a bunch of stuff to stream for Halloween in their annual programming event Huluween. Check out the list of movies and TV shows over at Hulu.

El Rey Network

The network is running nearly 100 hours of Halloween-themed programming, including episodes of The Crow, along with movies from the franchises Evil Dead, Boogeyman, Hellraiser, Puppet Master, and much more. See the full schedule.

Netflix

The Netflix streaming network has tons of movies and television shows to choose from this Halloween season, but the one to watch this weekend would definitely be Stranger Things 2, the second season of their breakout hit show. Season 2 just launched, so go get your binge on!

PBS

Edgar Allan Poe: Buried Alive: PBS will air the next installment of their American Masters documentary series on Monday, October 30 on 9pm, and will release it to streaming the next day, on Halloween. Kathleen Turner narrates the film, while Denis O’Hare stars as the title legendary writer.
