CONTENTS

CLOCKWORK CITY DLC GAME PACK

With the Clockwork City DLC game pack, you’ll explore an all-new zone and investigate the deadly mystery surrounding Sotha Sil’s mechanical realm.

A Whole (Mechanical) World to Explore

Journey into Sotha Sil’s Clockwork City, a great and intricate mechanism that duplicates Tamriel in metallic miniature. Take on two dangerous world bosses, explore new delves, and complete daily quests to earn a host of unique rewards.

A Clockwork Mystery

Something is amiss at the heart of the Clockwork City. Enter this mechanical wonderland and uncover a Daedric plot that threatens not only the Clockwork God’s creation, but all of Tamriel. This new story quest line is similar in size to those found in the Dark Brotherhood or Thieves Guild DLC game packs, providing an exciting adventure for both new and old players alike.

The Asylum Sanctorium

Ready for a challenge like no other? The Asylum Sanctorium is an all-new 12-player Trial with a unique twist: you decide how difficult you want the experience to be. With the best and most powerful rewards offered for the greatest challenge, how will you take on the Sotha Sil’s failed creations? You can find more information regarding this new Trial in our preview article.

PURCHASE DETAILS

The Clockwork City DLC game pack is completely free to ESO Plus members or available for purchase for 2000 crowns from the in-game Crown Store. (To buy the pack, navigate to the in-game Crown Store and find it in the DLC section.)

Note that if your current ESO Plus membership lapses, you will lose access to the content until it is renewed or you purchase it from the Crown Store. While you need access to The Elder Scrolls Online base game in order to acquire and play the Clockwork City DLC game pack, The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind is not required.

Clockwork City Collector’s Bundle

In addition to the DLC game pack, the Clockwork City Collector’s Bundle will be also available for 4000 crowns from the in-game Crown Store.

This bundle includes the DLC game pack, the Clockwork Skeevaton pet, the Kagouti Fabricant mount, and Five Crown Experience Scrolls. You can find the Clockwork City Collector’s Bundle in the Featured section of the Crown Store.

ENTER THE CITY

Once you have acquired the Clockwork City DLC game pack via ESO Plus membership or the Crown Store, you can begin your adventure within Sotha Sil’s greatest creation by the following methods:

  • Find Divayth Fyr’s messenger in Mournhold’s City Center to begin the quest “To The Clockwork City”
  • Travel to the Clockwork City and the Brass Fortress directly via your map
  • Like Coldharbour, it is located “outside” Tamriel on the map
  • Travel to a Friend or Guild mate already in the Clockwork City zone

Once you’ve entered the new zone, you are free to explore the Clockwork City however you like, and you can leave by using any one of the local Wayshrines or your map!

ENJOY FREE NON-COMBAT PETS

To celebrate the launch of the Clockwork City DLC pack, we’re gifting all players a free Brassilisk pet, specific to each unique platform.

To get these new pets, you’ll need to navigate to the PlayStation®Store or Xbox Store Elder Scrolls Online listings on your console. The Brassilisk is only available if you have Xbox Gold or PlayStation®Plus on your Gamertag/PSN account. There, it’ll be available for free. Here’s how:

Xbox One

  • 1. From the Xbox One Home screen, scroll to the right until you reach the Store section.
  • 2. Select the Search all button.
  • 3. Enter “The Elder Scrolls Online” and select the game.
  • 4. From The Elder Scrolls Online store page, find and select the Brassilisk in the Add-ons section to acquire it for free!

PlayStation®4

  • 1. From the PS4 dashboard, navigate to the left and open the PlayStation®Store
  • 2. Use the top bar to select the Search option
  • 3. Enter “The Elder Scrolls Online” and select the game (not the Add-on content that’ll also appear in the results).
  • 4. From The Elder Scrolls Online store page, find and select the Brassilisk in the Add-ons section to acquire it for free!

Once complete, log into the game to have the pet specific to your platform added to your Collections. Note that you do not need to own the Clockwork City DLC game pack in order to receive your Brassilisk, this pet is free to all!

If you’re a PC/Mac player, don’t worry, you can get your own Brassilisk for free from the Featured section of the in-game Crown Store.

The Brassilisk is not the only free pet companion available with Update 16. When you acquire the new DLC game pack and first enter the Brass Fortress, you’ll also receive the Scintillant Dovah-Fly!

Once unlocked, you can activate either one of your new pets by navigating to your Collections menu and selecting Non-Combat Pets.

CRAZY KING ADDED TO BATTLEGROUNDS

As part of Update 16, we’ve introduced a new Battlegrounds game mode: Crazy King!

Seek out and capture banners that move around the map at random. Hold them to earn your team points, but be sure to always keep moving, as no capture point will ever stay in one place for long, and new ones are added as the game progresses!

Like its fellow Battlegrounds game modes, Crazy King is a chaotic, fast-paced PvP experience that’ll challenge you to stay mobile. You can now play Crazy King as part of the Battlegrounds Grab Bag queue in the Group & Activity Finder. Participation in Crazy King matches contributes to the Land Grab leaderboard. Good luck!

Note: ESO: Morrowind is required to play Battlegrounds.

UPDATE 16 BASE-GAME PATCH AND TRANSMUTATION

Update 16 arrives with a base-game patch for all players, free of charge, including a host of fixes, balance changes, additions, and improvements.

Most notably, Update 16 includes the addition of the new Transmutation System, allowing you to change the Traits on your item. You can find everything you need to know about Transmutation in our FAQ article.

The Update 16 base-game patch also brings some improvements to performance. This includes an overhaul to how the game handles animations (reducing memory requirements) and optimizations to the way objects are rendered. This will help to improve frame rates, reduce load times, and stop some crashes.

Xbox One X players will also enjoy incredible improvements to the game’s graphics with Update 16. You can see how ESO makes the most of the powerful Xbox One X in our preview article.

In addition to this, there’s a host of additional changes:

  • Trait Tracker – You can now see whether you’ve researched a Trait on an item!
  • Various fixes and updates to combat, gameplay, Alliance War, crafting, dungeons, balance, questing, and more
  • Crafting Writ Turn-In Improvements – Deliver writs at any turn-in site in Tamriel
  • New Home – The Orbservatory Prior in Clockwork City
  • Champion Point Increase – Raised by 30 to a total of 690

You can grab a copy of The Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited and the Morrowind expansion over at Amazon, and click right here to find much more on the game.
