The next game from the developer of the Dark Souls series and Bloodborne, FromSoftware, was teased at The Game Awards 2017.
The teaser is a brief video. And when I say teaser I do very much mean it. It’s only 20-something seconds long, and shows one thing. It’s a disturbing thing, of that there is no doubt. But still, only one thing. That thing is then followed by a few words, which is of course enough to get folks speculating.
Head on below to check out the video.
Considering the two games mentioned above, the biggest guesses fans have for what this could be are either Bloodborne 2, a new Souls game, or perhaps a Souls remaster.
The latter has been rumored and would make sense, especially considering the words at the end: “Shadows die twice.” You died once play Souls, now come die again playing a polished and pretty (in a desolate and depressing way) new version!
But who knows. All guesses are welcome. The only thing we all know for sure is, whatever the game ends up being, your ass is definitely going to die many times playing it. The game could be a Bubble Bobble remake, and you would still die horrible deaths over and over again playing it if FromSoftware made it.
