Castle Rock

We’ve already seen some teaser trailers for Castle Rock, the psychological horror series executive produced by J.J. Abrams and his Bad Robot Productions which is set in the multiverse Stephen King established and has built over the years.

Now an official trailer for the show, which is set to arrive later this month, has been released by Hulu. You can find the new trailer below, along with the official synopsis and some more info on the series including the cast and when it will be released.

SYNOPSIS:

A psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse, Castle Rock combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland. The fictional Maine town of Castle Rock has figured prominently in King’s literary career: Cujo, The Dark Half, IT and Needful Things, as well as novella The Body and numerous short stories such as Rita Hayworth and The Shawshank Redemption are either set there or contain references to Castle Rock. Castle Rock is an original suspense/thriller “” a first-of-its-kind reimagining that explores the themes and worlds uniting the entire King canon, while brushing up against some of his most iconic and beloved stories.

Sam Shaw (Manhattan, Masters of Sex) and Dustin Thomason (Manhattan, Lie to Me) created Castle Rock, and also write, executive produce, and handle showrunner duties.

Starring in the series is André Holland, Melanie Lynskey, Sissy Spacek, Bill Skarsgård, Jane Levy, and Scott Glenn.

The debut season of Castle Rock will consist of 10 episodes, and it is set to kick off on July 25th. If you missed the aforementioned previously released teaser trailers and are interested in checking them out, you can click right here to find those and more.
