You can read a brief synopsis for Arizona and watch the trailer below.

SYNOPSIS:

Cassie (Rosemarie DeWitt, La La Land) is a real estate agent and single mom struggling to keep it all together during the housing crisis of 2009. Her problems go from bad to worse when disgruntled client Sonny (Danny McBride, Pineapple Express) violently confronts Cassie’s boss and then kidnaps Cassie – making one outrageously bad, and bloody, decision after another. Things completely spiral out of control in this explosive action comedy, also starring Luke Wilson (Idiocracy), Kaitlin Olson (“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”), David Alan Grier (“The Carmichael Show”) and Elizabeth Gillies (“Dynasty”).

The movie was directed by Jonathan Watson, who makes his feature directorial debut. Watson has worked as an assistant director or second unit director on movies like Bad Boys, The Truman Show, The Green Mile, 21 Jump Street, The Amazing Spider-Man, This Is The End, and The Disaster Artist, as well as episodes of TV series Eastbound & Down and Vice Principals—both of which also starred McBride—and Hulu’s Future Man. He also directed the first episode of season two of Future Man.

The screenplay was penned by 30 Rock, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Life & Times of Tim, and Bored to Death writer and producer Luke Del Tredici.

Arizona is set to be released in limited theaters, on digital, and via video on demand services beginning on August 24th.
