Sony Pictures Entertainment has released an official trailer for a new entry in the demonic possession horror sub-genre, titled The Possession of Hannah Grace, which perviously went by the title Cadaver.

The movie stars Shay Mitchell as a woman working in the morgue when a body comes in which brings with it some terrifying surprises for her. It’s looks like a bigger budget studio version of 2016’s The Autopsy of Jane Doe, only the “Jane Doe” in this case is a girl with a name who died while an exorcism was being performed on her.

SYNOPSIS:

A shocking exorcism spirals out of control, claiming the life of a young woman. Months later, Megan Reed (Shay Mitchell) is working the graveyard shift in the morgue when she takes delivery of a disfigured cadaver. Locked alone inside the basement corridors, Megan begins to experience horrifying visions and starts to suspect that the body may be possessed by a ruthless demonic force.

Starring alongside Mitchell in the movie is Grey Damon, Kirby Johnson, and Stana Katic. The movie is directed by Dutch filmmaker Diederik Van Rooijen, whose credits include Daylight, Black Widow, and Taped. The screenplay was penned by Brian Sieve, who has written multiple episodes of Scream: The TV Series, an episode of Teen Wolf, and a pair of Boogeyman sequels.

The Possession of Hannah Grace is set to be released in theater in a little over one month from now on November 30th.
