In celebration of it being named to one of the shortlists of potential Academy Award nominees, DisneyӢPixar has made the latest animated Pixar short Bao available to watch online for free.

But unfortunately this is a limited time opportunity. You only have this week to watch the short. You can find it below along with more info.

In “Bao,” an aging Chinese mom suffering from empty nest syndrome gets another chance at motherhood when one of her dumplings springs to life as a lively, giggly dumpling boy. Mom excitedly welcomes this new bundle of joy into her life, but Dumpling starts growing up fast, and Mom must come to the bittersweet revelation that nothing stays cute and small forever.

This short film from Pixar Animation Studios and director Domee Shi explores the ups and downs of the parent-child relationship through the colorful, rich, and tasty lens of the Chinese immigrant community in Canada.

For those of you who might be here in the future only to discover that the video is no longer available, you can always pick up a copy of Incredibles 2 or the Pixar Short Films Collection: Volume 3 and watch it whenever you like.

If interested you can learn even more about Bao in our interview with director Domee Shi and producer Becky Neiman-Cobb, or check out the first look article from April of this year.
