‘Avengers: Endgame’ Featurette and Even More Posters Deal With Grief and Avenging
  |  @   |

We are just a month away from the release of Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame, which is easily one of the most anticipated movies of the year. After the events of Avengers: Infinity War, our heroes are reeling after one of the biggest losses since they’ve teamed up. But as devastated as they are, they know they must “Avenge The Fallen,” a tagline that can be seen written all over the newly released character posters.

And now, Marvel Studios has released a featurette for the upcoming film that sees the cast talk about the state of mind of which their characters are in now. Additionally, there are a few more character posters that will answer one of the biggest questions many of us had about Infinity War: Does Shuri (Letitia Wright) survive? Check out the featurette and these posters, below.

The featurette sees Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, and Kevin Feige speak about how the Avengers have all changed since losing to Thanos, and how they will use that as motivation to pick themselves off and fight the good fight. A lot of these characters are going to change, and some won’t be the same, but if anything, they will “build themselves” back up to avenge. It’s in the name after all.

Now as for those new posters. We see that in addition to Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) making a surprise appearance with a colored character poster – which means she’s alive – Shuri also gets a character poster, but one that is grey – which means she’s dead. We don’t know how she died. But we didn’t see her get dusted, and Gamora and Vision both died at the hands of Thanos, so it could be that the fall that she suffered in Infinity War was traumatic enough to kill her.

Here’s the official plot synopsis:

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Bradley Cooper, and Josh Brolin also star.

Directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame opens in theaters on April 26, 2019. Click right here for trailers and more.
