Control Gameplay Trailer

A new gameplay trailer has been released for Control, the latest game from Max Payne, Alan Wake, and Quantum Break developer Remedy Entertainment.

The game is a third-person title in which you play as the new director of a secret agency trying to regain control after the arrival of an otherworldly invader. You can find more information and check out the gameplay trailer along with some previously released bonus videos below.

DISCOVER A WORLD UNKNOWN

After a secretive agency in New York is invaded by an otherworldly threat, you become the new Director struggling to regain Control.

From developer Remedy Entertainment, this supernatural 3rd person action-adventure will challenge you to master the combination of supernatural abilities, modifiable loadouts and reactive environments while fighting through a deep and unpredictable world.

Control is Jesse Faden’s story and her personal search for answers as she grows into the role of the Director. The world of Control has its own story, as do the allies Jesse meets along the way. Jesse works with other Bureau agents and discovers strange experiments and secrets.

The game will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and on PC digitally. If interested, you can pre-order a copy on PS4 and Xbox One over at Amazon now. Click right here for more info on pre-order bonuses.

Control will be released on August 27th.

Trailers

The Oldest House is a mysterious place of power, the headquarters of the Federal Bureau of Control, a secretive organisation covertly nested within the web of US government agencies. Jesse Faden arrives searching for answers just as an otherworldly force known as the Hiss attacks and kills the Bureau’s former Director. In a mysterious ritual, Jesse is made the new Director. Now imbued with supernatural abilities and wielding the Director’s transforming Service Weapon, Jesse must take on the Hiss and take back control.

Control arrives August 27th on PS4/PS4 Pro, Xbox One/Xbox One X, and PC (digital only).

We first showed NVIDIA’s RTX ray-tracing technology in our Northlight Engine tech demo during GDC. Now we have added ray-tracing to Control, starting with glossy Ray Traced Reflections, Ray Traced Diffuse Global Illumination and Contact Shadows.

Here’s a brand new look at a work-in-progress real-time ray tracing demo of Control, running on the PC and powered by GeForce RTX. The demo showcases examples of real-time ray tracing such as Ray Traced Indirect Diffuse, Ray Traced Indirect Specular and Ray Traced Contact Shadows.
