Amazon Arrivals: What’s Coming To Prime Video In July 2019
  |  @   |

Amazon has announced the full lineup of movies and television shows set to arrive on Prime Video in the new month.

This includes a few highlighted titles coming to the streaming service as well as a little bit about them, followed by the rest of the incoming movies and TV shows and the date they’ll be added to Prime Video.

All of the Amazon Arrivals for July 2019 can be found below.

Unimpressed with the loud and empty offerings at the movie theaters this summer? Prime Video serves up some thoughtful and imaginative alternatives for July. From twist-filled thrillers to historical drama to a grownup take on the superhero saga, July brings plenty of viewing to engage your brain. Of course, there’s some straight-up fun, too, featuring animated pandas, Cam Newton and the classic comedy, Dumb and Dumber.

1) Under the Silver Lake “” July 1

Andrew Garfield stars in this mind-bending film that combines neo-noir with black comedy. Garfield plays a slacker whose gorgeous neighbor (Riley Keough) goes missing. His search for her leads him down a rabbit hole of increasing weirdness in hipster LA. (R)

2) Peterloo (Amazon Original) “” July 5

Acclaimed director Mike Leigh (Mr. Turner, Secrets & Lies) tells the story of one of Britain’s darkest events in this Amazon Original movie. Cavalry charged into a pro-democracy demonstration in 1819, killing 15 and injuring hundreds. The Peterloo Massacre became a rallying point for democratic reform. (PG-13)

3) Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny (Amazon Original, Season 1, Part 2) “” July 5

Now famously known as the Four Constellations, the panda kids are summoned by the Emperor to the Forbidden City, making Po fear the kids may no longer need his teachings. But when friends turn to foes, all the heroes will need to draw from their Chi and Kung Fu knowledge to defeat evil in an explosive and epic battle. (TV-Y7)

4) All or Nothing (Amazon Original, Season 4) “” July 19

The Amazon Original series documents an entire season of an NFL team using unprecedented access to practices, team meetings, locker rooms and games. The fourth NFL installment features the 2018 season of the Carolina Panthers and their MVP-caliber quarterback, Cam Newton. (TV-MA)

5) Serenity “” July 23

Matthew McConaughey stars as a fisherman whose ex-wife (Anne Hathaway) asks him to kill her new husband. This heady thriller is full of twists, including a neck-snapper in the middle that sends the plot in a startling new direction. (R)

6) The Boys (Amazon Original, Season 1) “” July 26

The new Amazon Original series puts a decidedly different spin on superhero stories. In a world where the super-powered sometimes neglect the “hero” part of their calling, an underground group known as the Boys works to stem superhero corruption. Violent, profane and darkly funny. (TV-MA)

7) A Vigilante “” July 27

Olivia Wilde stars as a formerly abused woman who avenges victims of domestic violence. A Vigilante delivers a social message that elevates it above the standard action thriller. One of last year’s best-reviewed movies. (R)

8) The Haunting of Sharon Tate “” July 29

Hillary Duff stars as the ill-fated actress Sharon Tate, who became a victim of the Manson Family. The film mixes fact and fiction as it creates a horror story out of the real-life tragedy. (R)

9) Spider-Man 3 “” July 31

We won’t leave you completely without superhero popcorn movies. The third film in the first Spider-Man series “” with Toby Maguire as the web-slinger “” finds Spidey battling the Sandman, New Goblin and Venom. Kirsten Dunst co-stars. (PG-13)

10) Dumb and Dumber “” July 31

Sometimes, we just want some easy laughs from a silly comedy, and maybe no movie delivers that better than this hilarious classic. Jim Carrey, at the height of his comic powers, teams with Jeff Daniels as two friends long on good intentions but short on IQ points. (PG-13)
