The 25th installment of the James Bond film franchise has been going by its unofficial title, Bond 25. But that ends today.
The folks behind the film, which once again stars Daniel Craig as the iconic British MI6 spy, have titled the film No Time To Die. More on the report, below.
The official James Bond Twitter account confirmed the news earlier today and paired it with a nice motion graphic poster of Craig as Bond, walking across from one side of the screen to the next, before stopping to turning to you:
There has been much speculation and rumors as to what the film could be about. As far as we know Bond has retired in Jamaica, only to come out of it when a new threat arises, a threat that only he can stop. Of course, it will have more depth and substance to it than that. Especially with a title like that.
As for the title, it may suggest that Bond as a character will live on – even though he will eventually be played by a new actor – as he has “No time to die.” It seems like an appropriate title for a Bond film as well. Unlike some of the more confusing ones like Quantum of Solace.
No Time To Die is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, and the screenplay is co-written by Scott Z. Burns, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Fukunaga.
