Martin Ansin’s Awesome ‘Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse’ Mondo Poster Available Now For A Limited Time
  |  @   |

The fifth MondoCon has come to a close, and some of those weren’t able to attend the event in Austin, Texas, are anxious to get their hands on those highly sought-after pieces. While some pieces sell out quickly, even in an instant, there are times where fans have the opportunity to get them thanks to a timed release. Now the art company has given those who missed the event the chance to get a coveted piece. It was recently revealed that a new print of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse by Martin Ansin will be given a timed-release. Read on for details on out how you can get it.

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is not only the best film of 2018, in my opinion, but it is also the best Spider-Man film of all time. With its beautiful and artistic presentation, the animated feature is literally a comic book come to life, utilizing styles and techniques that Stan Lee and Steve Ditko used to make the webslinger the global hero that he is today, while also blending contemporary themes – like having Miles Morales, a Black Puerto Rican, as the lead hero – that are a reflection of society to reach a larger audience.

Ansin’s hand-numbered screen print is a timed released and will be for sale at mondotees.com until this Wednesday, 9/18/19 at 11:59 PM. Sized at 24×36, it goes for $60 and is expected to ship out October 2019.

Here’s what Ansin told Collider about the poster:

“I remember watching the first trailer for it, and it was so hyper and fast and layered that I thought that if I ever got to do a poster for Spider-Verse, I would have to fit all those visuals in there. I don’t think I could come up with a minimal design that also feels like the movie, it’s just so rich and detailed”¦ the challenge was in finding a way to compose the poster to make all those characters fit together.”
