‘Lost In Space’ Trailer: Netflix Renews Series For Season 2

Netflix announced at New York Comic-Con this weekend the renewal of their series Lost in Space for a Season 2. Along with the news comes the first trailer for Season 2, which you can watch here below.

The network also announced the casting of JJ Feild (Turn, Turn Up Charlie) for the recurring guest role of Ben Adler, chief of advanced systems and artificial intelligence. Per Netflix, the character will be “Maureen’s academic contemporary but with what he’s experienced — bears more in common with her son, Will Robinson.”

Here’s details per Netflix about the upcoming Season 2:

There’s more danger “” and adventure “” ahead for the Robinson family! With the Jupiter 2 stranded on a mysterious ocean planet without their beloved Robot, the Robinsons must work together, alongside the mischievous and manipulative Dr. Smith and the always charming Don West, to make it back to the Resolute and reunite with the other colonists. But they quickly find all is not as it seems. A series of incredible new threats and unexpected discoveries emerge as they look for the key to finding Robot and safe passage to Alpha Centauri. They will stop at nothing to keep their family safe… survival is a Robinson specialty after all.

The Netflix original series, produced by Legendary Television, stars Toby Stephens, Molly Parker, Maxwell Jenkins, Mina Sundwall, Taylor Russell, Ignacio Serricchio, and Parker Posey.

Season 2 of scifi adventure series, a reboot of the 1960s sci-fi TV show of the same name, was filmed in Iceland and Vancouver, Canada. Consisting of 10 hour-long episodes, the second season launches at netflix.com/lostinspace on December 24, 2019.
