Disney released a tiny movie some of you may have heard about over the weekend. It’s called Avengers: Endgame. After 11 years and 21 films, it has come down to this one movie that simply smashed box office records. Having seen it four times already, I can tell you that it is one of the best movie-going experiences I have had in a very long time. Watching the press screening is one thing, but watching it with the general public is something else.
And it shows, as Avengers: Endgame was not only the number one film this weekend, taking in $350 million domestically, but also smashed a few other records in the process such as the biggest opening day and weekend, which were previously held by films like The Force Awakens and Avengers: Infinity War. But now the question is, can it pass Avatar? More on this report below.

Despite all of the behind-the-scenes issues that may have occurred during the Solo: A Star Wars Story production, the film still has that Star Wars tag on it, which almost guarantees it will do big things at the box office.
And based on what we have seen so far, it is looking like the film will be a huge hit. In fact, early tracking says it could break the Memorial Day weekend box office record. More on the story below.

Yes, James Cameron says he hopes Avengersfatigue hits audiences sometime soon. But with Avengers: Infinity War grossing $630 million worldwide in its opening weekend, that’s probably not going to happen anytime soon. The highly anticipated Marvel Studios film made its debut last weekend, and broke several box office records (and our emotions, but that’s a subject for another post). The full story here below.

Because opening numbers mean everything for a blockbuster tentpole, tracking early reports for a film like Black Panther is important. Often times, the opening weekend numbers determine whether or not it will get a sequel. But when you have a track record like Marvel Studios, it’s safe to assume that the film will open at number one. How long it will stay there will obviously be up to the audience.
The character first made an appearance in Captain America: Civil War, and proved that he deserved to have his own film as much as his fellow Avengers. Now that standalone film is tracking to earn as high as $120 million at the box office. Check out how it matches with other February films below.
