Greek black metal legends Rotting Christ are gearing up to release their thirteenth full-length album on February 12, 2016. The record is called Rituals and continues the band’s tradition of releasing some of the most interesting material in the genre. They have already blessed us with a sneak preview in the form of this week’s Black Metal Friday track “Tou Thanatou.” The title is taken from the Biblical passage Romans 7:24 (the King James version) and translates to “body of death.”

Incarnate is the name of the upcoming album from Massachusetts metalcore mavens Killswitch Engage. It will be available March 11, 2016 via Roadrunner Records. The record will be the band’s seventh full-length album and the second since the return of original singer Jesse Leach in 2013. Leach’s first album after rejoining, 2013’s excellent Disarm The Descent garnered the band the highest praise of their career and it’s lead single “In Due Time” was nominated for a Grammy in the “Best Metal Performance” category.
