Last month Hugh Jackman said his Wolverine character would beat Deadpool after Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool took a friendly jab at Wolverine, and many fans wished for the chance to see the two characters do battle on the big screen again. Especially now that Deadpool is a huge success, scoring over $150 million domestic and over $130 million foreign for a $284 million global opening on a $58 million budget. Not bad at all for an R-rated comic book movie. Oh yeah, and there’s those rumors that Wolverine 3could be rated R now that it’s been proven that a more mature comic book movie can be successful with the right people involved.
Reynolds recently crashed an interview session Jackman was doing for his new movie Eddie the Eagle, and took the opportunity to ask some questions himself. This has very little to do with Deadpool or Wolverine, but it is very funny and will still likely make you want to see the two in a movie together again. The promos alone would be worth it.
