Hello There! This is Adam Frazier and you are listening to Skull-Face Island, the official movie podcast of Geeks of Doom! As always I’m joined by the Lancaster Dodd to my Freddie Quell, David Allen… and the Island’s Blue Ribbon Bird Caller, producer Tim Grant.
Today on the Show: We’ll discuss John Moore‘s latest film, A Good Day to Die Hard, and boot-up the Geek-O-Matic TeleFax for all the latest news on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Fantastic Four, and recap the 85th Annual Academy Awards.
For our third segment, we’ll play The Synonym Game: Best Picture Edition to appease The Mighty Tu’Challa‘s craving for man flesh. Also, Tu’Challa has his own WWE-style entrance music now – which is both awesome and terrifying. We’ll also announce the winner of a free digital copy of Sinister and the winner of Satan’s Star Wars Spin-Offs.

Directed by John Moore (Max Payne), A Good Day to Die Hard sees former police detective and all-around bad-ass John McClane (Bruce Willis) travel to Moscow to retrieve his estranged son, Jack (Jai Courtney), a CIA operative who has been detained after a botched mission.
Jack’s mission is to recover political prisoner and government whistleblower Yuri Komarov (Sebastian Koch) before he’s executed by Chagaran (Sergei Kolesnikov), a corrupt, high-ranking government official. Father and son must put aside their personal and professional differences, and work together to stop the Moscow underworld from obtaining enriched weapons-grade uranium – or something.
Looking back at the first two trailers for A Good Day To Die Hard, aka the fifth installment of the Die Hard series, they were in your face and explosive. Well this third and presumably last trailer is just like that times ten, and it looks like it’s going back to the franchise’s roots.
John McClane (Bruce Willis) has faced all sorts of enemies, either from the States or across the seas, but this time he takes his habit of causing trouble across the Atlantic in A Good Day To Die Hard. We saw a teaser trailer of sorts that didn’t get too in depth about the plot and basically announced that another Die Hard movie was coming. Looking at that trailer, it was great to see that Die Hard was going back to old roots, sans the human vulnerability, by simply moving McClane to an overseas setting.
Check out the newest trailer for A Good Day To Die Hard here below.
Live Free or Die Hard may have been the swan song for the heavy actioner franchise, but consider A Good Day to Die Hard to be the commencement of a brand new beginning. The first teaser trailer for A Good Day to Die Hard, a.k.a. Die Hard 5, has arrived online, and to say that it is the most explosive entry in the Die Hard franchise would be a vast understatement.
