Back in December of 2012, we found out that Family Guy and American Dad! creator Seth MacFarlane was set to follow up his feature film directorial debut, Ted, with a western-comedy titled A Million Ways to Die in the West.
Now comes the first image from the movie, which MacFarlane co-wrote with Family Guy and Ted writers Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild.
You can check out the first image and a synopsis for the movie below.
A pair of high-profile actors are looking to join the cast of Seth MacFarlane‘s upcoming western comedy A Million Ways to Die in the West, a sequel to his hit comedy Ted.
Taken and The Grey star Liam Neeson has entered into negotiations for a role in the movie, and Avatar and Saving Private Ryan star Giovanni Ribisi is already locked in to play one of the characters.
Amanda Seyfried has entered into negotiations to join Family Guy and American Dad! creator Seth MacFarlane‘s next live-action movie project, titled A Million Ways to Die in the West.
The actress would join Charlize Theron and MacFarlane (making his first appearance as a lead actor) on the western comedy.
If you thought that Ted, the live-action Mark Wahlberg comedy featuring a foul-mouthed CGI teddy bear, was the last live-action movie from Family Guy and American Dad! creator Seth MacFarlane for a while, it appears you’d be wrong.
Ted, which MacFarlane made his live-action feature directorial debut on and voiced the title character, did huge numbers at the box office ($501 million worldwide on a $50 million budget), especially for an R-rated movie. So now plans are in the works for the next feature.
According to reports, MacFarlane wants to make a western comedy next titled A Million Ways to Die in the West, and he’s aiming to have it released in the summer of 2013.
