Thanks to the power of social media, we now know that John Krasinski has officially started production for A Quiet Place 2. The highly anticipated sequel brings back Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe as the Abbott family. Krasinski also returns as director, with Polly Morgan joining as the cinematographer for the sequel. More on the report here below.

A sequel to A Quiet Place was given the greenlight almost the instant the first film came out in theaters. Paramount CEO Jim Gianopulos said about the announcement, “We’re thrilled to say that we’re already working on the sequel to A Quiet Place.”

While the sequel was confirmed, it wasn’t clear if original director and co-writer John Krasinski would return. But, it looks like he will be back in some capacity. He will write the script. More on the report below.
