Oscars 2019: Producers Eyeing The Avengers To Help Save Hostless Academy Awards
Oscar producers have found themselves to be a in a little bit of trouble this year. In December. Kevin Hart was hired to host. But when the comedian’s controversial jokes resurfaced, and it was apparent that he would not apologize for them, he stepped aside. Now with the show just weeks away from broadcast producers are considering going through the show without a host, but not before throwing one heck of a Hail Mary.
One option that’s looked likely is the Academy bringing in multiple A-list celebrities to introduce segments, and according to new report, the cast of the Avengers movies could be among those who show up to save the day. While this wont be like any other previous show, it may avoid a repeat of the 1989 cavalcade of comedy and musical skits. More on the report below.

As was previously reported, one option was for the Oscars to have no host this year. And now, that is beginning to look more and more like a reality. According to new reports the Academy will forgo having a host, a move that has not been made since 1989. More on the report below.
