A promotional image has been released for Yoga Hosers, the next movie from writer and director Kevin Smith, and can be seen below.
The image shows stars Harley Quinn Smith and Lily-Rose Depp, the daughters of director Smith and Johnny Depp, who also is starring in the movie.
The actresses play teenage yoga nuts who work at a Canadian convenience store called Eh-2-Zed, when they are forced to seek out the assistance of a legendary manhunter (Depp) to help them fight an ancient evil that threatens a 12th grade party the girls have been invited to.
As a director Kevin Smith has distanced himself from the comedy movies he’s best known for, and has instead embraced much smaller budget independent projects as of late.
After his first indie effort, the very un-Smith-like horror flick Red State, he took some time off from features to focus on various other things he has going on. But lately he’s been quite busy. Smith just finished a second indie horror titled Tusk, which is set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, and he’s already moving into his next movie, titled Yoga Hosers.
Now comes word that Johnny Depp will be appearing in the movie, which stars his daughter Lily-Rose Depp and Smith’s daughter Harley Quinn Smith.

“It’s the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.” – R.E.M
Written and directed by Lorene Scafaria (writer, Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist), Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World is a warm, charming, and well-acted film that explores what people will do when humanity’s last days are at hand.
As the massive asteroid Matilda hurtles toward Earth, Dodge (Steve Carell) finds himself alone after his not-so-faithful wife (Nancy Carell) abandons him in an apocalyptic panic. This isn’t Armageddon though, Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck aren’t going to save the day this time. Dodge and the rest of the human race have 21 days until Matilda smashes into the planet, an extinction-level event no amount of “Leaving On A Jet Plane” and animal crackers can prevent.
