Last week on SYFY’s Blood Drive Grace (Christina Ochoa) drove a wounded and dying Arthur (Alan Ritchson) to the edge of the Scar. The only place around was a bizarre Chinese restaurant, a sort of purgatory for it’s owner. Meanwhile, poor Arthur went on the vision quest from Hell, being tortured physically and mentally, before ending up crucified by his personal demons. The ghosts of Blood Drive past all showed to torment him, and while he languished, Grace made a choice that could save Arthur and possibly put her life on the line. Such is life in the Scar.

Last week on Syfy’s Blood Drive, Arthur and Grace entered the Wild West town of Red River. They were able to get their brain bombs removed, but more problems followed soon after. Grace (Christina Ochoa) squared off with Slink (Colin Cunningham) in an intense showdown in a saloon. Meanwhile Arthur (Alan Ritchson) was a pawn for the evil eyeless sheriff and ended up with a bullet in him near the end. Add this to the list of things Grace feels guilty for…

Last week on Syfy’s original series Blood Drive, a giant monster ran amok, slaughtering Blood Drivers. Sadly, we bade farewell to the Gentleman (Andrew Hall) who went out in an orgy of one liners, and sexual innuendos. Julian Slink (Colin Cunningham) is back in control of the Blood Drive, and has Heart Enterprises by the balls. Of course his glorious victory came with the revelation that he lead Karma to her death”¦ and oh that was not what Grace (Christina Ochoa) wanted to hear. Her entire purpose in the Drive was to rescue Karma and use the winnings to start over. Now her motive is revenge and she has a target. This week, the Blood Drive heads to the wild west town of Red River where Slink and Grace will square off Back to the Future Part III-style.

TV Review: Blood Drive 1.7 “The Gentleman’s Agreement”

Blood Drive
Season 1 Episode 7: “The Gentleman’s Agreement”

Syfy
Air Date: Wednesday, July 26th, 2017, 10pm

Blood Drive on Syfy is television’s weekly foray into grindhouse madness. Last week there were Mad Max-style Amazon biker babes who used men as milk machines, you know the usual. Things came crashing down though for Grace (Christina Ochoa) whose entire motivation for joining the Drive was to rescue and help her sister Karma (Alex McGregor), found out Karma died initiating a rebellion that created the female-dominated society in the desert. The range of of emotions shown by Ochoa was fascinating. Usually such a sarcastic stone-cold badass, the episode ended with her heartbroken to silence as Arthur (Alan Ritchson), ever the steadfast and stoic good guy, tried desperately to reassure her things would get better. Getting better, is staying alive in the Blood Drive and defeating Heart Enterprises.

First off, apologies on the lateness of this one, I was in a hotel with poor channel selection and no wifi. But alas, I was excited to get home and catch up on the craziness I missed on last week’s Blood Drive on Syfy. Last week, Grace (Christina Ochoa) had to bail out Arthur (Alan Ritchson) after a sex plague took over the Blood Drive party. Slink (Colin Cunningham) managed to escape torture and death several times, and as payment to Grace planned a stop on this week’s drive for her to get her sister back. Meanwhile, Christopher (Thomas Dominique) and his new $20 million machine eye are officially working for Heart Enterprises, but his cyborg-dominatrix girlfriend Aki (Marama Corlett) doesn’t realize (yet) that he’s an inside man. This week, the Drive continues…
