Last time on Vikings, the final battle between Frankia and the Vikings, brother against brother, Rollo (Clive Standen) against Ragnar (Travis Fimmel), ended in utter defeat for Ragnar, and praise and accolades for Rollo. An epilogue of sorts showed Ragnar gone for many, many years and his little boys grown up, hating him except for Ivar (Alex Høgh Andersen). Ragnar finally came back and challenged all to kill him and be king.

‘Vikings’ Interview: Alex Andersen Is Ivar The Boneless
A new leader is poised to reign in Kattegat on History Channel’s Vikings. One of the most famous vikings in history, Ivar the Boneless, born as a cripple to Ragnar Lothbrok and Aslaug (Travis Fimmel, Alyssa Sutherland), he developed his wits and became a fearsome strategist and leader, conquering much of England.
I had the honor of interviewing Alex Andersen, the young man poised to take the lead as Ivar of this fantastic show. We chatted about his audition, the relationship between Ivar and Ragnar, and his “brothers.”

‘Vikings’ Ivar the Boneless – A Closer Look
We do not know young Ivar the Boneless (Alex Høgh Andersen) very well yet. It was not until the jump in time during episode 4.10 “The Last Ship, that we meet him as an adult, with his wit and fierce loyalty to the father his brothers are ready to swear off or even kill (except maybe Bjorn – Alexander Ludwig). The child we saw in earlier seasons was the cause of actions and reactions – Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) almost killed him as a baby, Harbard (Kevin Durand) took away his pain, Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland) gave him to Floki (Gustaf Skarsgard) to mentor, he killed a boy during play.

Cast For TV Series Based On Stephen King’s ‘The Mist’ Announced
We just saw the first look at the new Pennywise the Clown in the upcoming movie adaptation of Stephen King‘s It. Now comes news related to another project based on the work of King, a TV series based on The Mist.
