72-Minute “Teaser” Trailer For 720-Hour Longest Film Ever ‘Ambiancé’

Trying to figure out artists is a futile task; they undoubtedly create some incredible things, but at the same time, they also tend to do things beyond comprehension.

Enter Anders Weberg, a Swedish artist out to beat the record for the longest film ever made. The current record is held by a film titled Modern Times Forever, which runs a quick 10 days in length. The comedy of experimental cinema, if you will. Weberg’s film, Ambiancé, will run 720 hours, which equals out to 30 days in length. And if that wasn’t enough to boggle your mind, the filmmaker says that the film will have one single, global screening when it’s completed in the year 2020, and then be destroyed before he retires from filmmaking forever. Artists!

To give you just a little teeny tiny taste of the movie, a “teaser” trailer has been released for Ambiancé that clocks in at 72 minutes. That’s longer than Dumbo, folks. If you want to give it a go (or just watch a little bit), you can do so below…but do hurry, as the teaser is only available until July 20th.
