We’ve already seen most weather and natural disasters covered in one of Hollywood’s big disaster movies. So it was only a matter of time before someone made a disaster movie with ALL the disasters.
Warner Brothers has released a teaser trailer for Geostorm, which is the feature directorial debut of Independence Day writer and producer Dean Devlin. The movie takes place in a time when natural disasters have gotten out of hand, causing the world’s leaders to create a technology that can control the weather. This, as you’ve probably figured out, goes horribly wrong. Starring is Gerard Butler, Jim Sturgess, Abbie Cornish, Alexandra Maria Lara, Daniel Wu, Andy Garcia and Ed Harris.

But two of the ship’s occupants wake up early. Far too early. Also starring is Michael Sheen (Masters of Sex, Frost/Nixon) along with Oscar nominees Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix, What’s Love Got to Do with It) and Andy Garcia (The Godfather Part III, Ocean’s Eleven).

Another new image has been released from the Ghostbusters reboot, this time giving us our first look at the new Ecto-1, the official vehicle the team uses to go and take care of all of those spectral nuisances around the city. About a week ago we got to see what the group’s uniforms and the new proton pack would look like in the movie.
The image was once again shared by director Paul Feig via Twitter along with the hashtag #whattheygonnadrive, and you can check it out below.
