Warner Bros. Pictures has released a second official trailer for Annabelle Comes Home, the third entry in the Annabelle franchise which is part of The Conjuring Universe.
Click on over to the other side for a lengthy synopsis and to give the new trailer for Annabelle Comes Home a watch.
Ever since the Annabelle doll first appeared in James Wan‘s The Conjuring, she has been on a wave of terror that has spread across multiple spinoffs in the Conjuring universe. And now, she is ready to come back to where it all started in Annabelle Comes Home. For after spending her creepy life scaring the living daylights out of two families, she finds herself back encased in a glass box at the lovely home of Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga). You know, the paranormal investigation couple who we saw in the first Conjuring. Well, all three are back for an all-new haunting that will see Ed and Lorraine protect their daughter (Mckenna Grace) from the nightmarish doll that will forever haunt our memories.
Annabelle, that creepy doll that first appeared in The Conjuring, refuses to be put on the shelf. After that first film and two successful spinoffs, New Line Cinema and WB announced that they will be releasing Annabelle 3, with IT and The Nun writer Gary Dauberman lined up to direct the film.
Now we are learning more about what the expect from the terrifying sequel. During a special ScareDiego panel at the San Diego Comic-Con, Dauberman and Annabelle producer James Wan spoke about the upcoming film, with Wan saying that it will be like Night at the Museum but with Annabelle. Find our more about the story, below.

All the possessed portraits, toys, and haunted spirits we’ve seen in James Wan‘s Conjuring films leaves plenty of room for world building. As such spinoffs are released to expand upon that world, though it has been met with mixed results. For one thing, Annabelle: while a commercial success, the spinoff was a critical disappointment. But studios are more concerned with the former, so of course, we’re going to get a continuation of that poorly received spinoff.
But here is the surprising thing about Annabelle: Creation, it’s actually pretty good. Lights Out director David F. Sandberg‘s latest effort uses all the traditional horror tropes that deliver plenty of chills and thrills. But because it uses all those familiar elements, it all suffers from the same pitfalls. Still, it is a prequel spinoff that gets the job done, and really, that’s all you could ask for. Check out my full review below.
