Hollywood mega-producer Jerry Bruckheimer has picked up the rights to turn the graphic novel World War Robot into a feature film. The title is written by Ashley Wood, who is a well-respected artist and has worked on various comics and graphic novels from Silent Hill, 30 Days of Nights, and Zombies vs. Robots. World War Robot is distributed by IDW Publishing.

The story takes place in the middle of a battle between humans and robots that is raging on Earth, the moon, and Mars. The graphic novel tells the stories of this battle in a diary fashion, with members of both sides offering up their situations and their stories.
