Alien III? Didn’t that already happen back in the ’90s? By no less than William Gibson, the author of Neuromancer?
Yes, Alien3 was and still is a thing. Possibly much to the chagrin of many fans of the franchise. But, before that happened, there was an attempt at a script written by William Gibson (father of see above). According to the Alien vs. Predatorwiki, Gibson’s script was the first of 10 commissioned sequels to Alien and Aliens and was written in 1987 only to be re-written in 1988 and the studio accepted neither.

I’m no stranger to audiobooks, but I dare say few have been in radio play format. I wanted to call Angel Catbird a radio drama but that would be a misnomer. For while it embodies the same concepts at its core, there was little dramatic about it. Words I would use instead include hilarious, rollicking, and ludicrous. It was almost off-putting at first for I had never read one of author Margaret Atwood‘s comics before, instead having consumed her novels in the past. As I listened longer, however, I found it quite amusing and even began to laugh while the audiobook played out.
Artemis: A Novel Hardcover | Paperback | Kindle | Audiobook
By Andy Weir
Publisher: Crown Publishing | Audible Studios (Audiobook)
Release date: November 14, 2017
Writer Andy Weir made a name for himself with his successful debut The Martian, a self-published novel about an astronaut stranded on Mars that went on to make the New York Times Best Seller list in 2014 when it was reprinted by Crown Publishing. The science fiction tale was a hit with readers, and was later adapted for the big screen with Matt Damon as the ill-fated spaceman. Now, Weir is back in the cosmos with his follow-up novel, Artemis, another scifi story, this time set in the near-future on Earth’s first and only colony on the Moon. For the audiobook edition from Audible Studios, actress Rosario Dawson (Marvel’s Daredevil, Sin City, Clerks II) provides the narration.
