First off, let me say that I have been thoroughly impressed with every Netflix Original Series I have seen so far and I had high hopes for Marvel’s Daredevil when I first heard it was in production. As the first of four all-new live-action Marvel franchises, the spotlight was trained on this one when it became available on April 10, 2015. And folks, it was well worth the wait. Dark and gritty, it is everything you would expect of a show that features a blind superhero fighting the good fight in the streets of Hell’s Kitchen in New York City.
But let me expound on that for a moment. The term “superhero” is not really applicable in this particular instance. There’s not much that is super about Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), unless you count his ability to take a beating. He’s highly skilled in hand-to-hand combat, but he’s not so remarkable that he escapes injury. As a matter of fact, it’s amazing how much Murdock does get hit. It’s his sheer force of will that makes him the formidable opponent that he is in this program.
There are only a few weeks left until the premiere of Marvel’s Daredevil series on Netflix. All 13 episodes released in one day is sure to bring out the binge watching habit. In the weeks leading up to the premiere, we have seen posters and trailers that show us a darker and grittier take on the world of Marvel.
Now a new motion poster to promote the new series teases its connection to the Marvel Cinematic Universe by hiding some Easter eggs, and teases the iconic red suit since previous promo images and trailers have had the character wearing a stealthy black ninja suit. Hit the jump to check out the all the Daredevil characters coming together in Hell’s Kitchen for the latest motion poster.
Netflix has released the official trailer for their upcoming series Daredevil, which is based on the hit Marvel comic of the same name and the first of four new Marvel series coming soon to the streaming juggernaut’s list of content.
The trailer shows offers plenty of new peeks at the show, including a new look at Vincent D’Onofrio as the villain Wilson Fisk, better known as the Kingpin, who we recently saw for the first time in some new images.

Back in January, we got a motion poster release date reveal, with a follow-up the next month with the long-awaited teaser trailer for Marvel’s Daredevil series. By the looks of things so far, it seems like it will be substantially darker than what the rest of Marvel TV has to offer.
Now, a second motion poster has been released, along with a first full look at Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk as well as more images from the upcoming Netflix series.
