  |  @   |

We’ve seen some amusing and educational “Things You (Probably) Didn’t Know” videos from CineFix for movies such as Terminator, Fight Club, and Home Alone.

So when we saw that they were offering up some fun facts on one of the greatest movies ever made, Robert Zemeckis‘s 1985 time travel classic Back to the Future in celebration of the movie’s 30th anniversary this year, we of course had to share it.

Working Hoverboard Can Be Yours For Just $10,000! (Video)
  |  @   |

Back in March the internet exploded after a video of what appeared to be a real working hoverboard—the wheel-less, floating skateboard made famous by Back to the Future II—surfaced online. The video, as it turned out, was a Funny or Die hoax.

But people just love their Back to the Future technology dreams (I cannot WAIT for one of those fancy pizza rehydrators personally), so it was only a matter of time before the hoverboard showed up again. This time, however, it appears that the hoverboard, which is called the Hendo Hoverboard, actually works…and you can reserve yours for only $10,000.

Click on over to the other side for more and to see a video of the board in action.

Not long after, it was discovered that Funny or Die was apparently behind it all.

Now Funny or Die has admitted to the prank, and is apologizing for such a cruel, cruel hoax. They’ve released a new video with BTTF star Christopher Lloyd, who appeared in the prank video and even got a little emotional toward the end to help try to sell it, talking about the deception. He also reveals a way that one person will be able to win a replica hoverboard that was signed by the celebrities who took part in the prank.

You can check out the video below.
