Trailer For ‘Star Wars: Battlefront II’ Single-Player Campaign Released
  |  @   |

A new trailer has been released for Star Wars: Battlefront II. The new trailer focuses on something the first game did not have, a single-player campaign, which follows Commander Iden Versio (played by Janina Gavankar).

With the unsettling news that EA has decided to close Dead Space developer Visceral Games, and “pivot the design” of the much-anticipated single-player Star Wars game they were working on, the hopes of many of us who aren’t content will multiplayer alone lie only with this Battlefront II campaign. If it’s not surprisingly good, we’ll all be very, very sad.

On that slightly depressing note, continue below to read more about the game and watch the trailer.

E3 2017 begins this weekend, and EA kicked things off with their own EA Play event. We knew going in that one of the big games to be featured would be Star Wars Battlefront II, and it certainly took center stage of the event.

In addition to releasing an official gameplay trailer, EA also held a live multiplayer match showcasing one of the maps. One of the highlights of the explosive clash was Darth Maul and Boba Fett tearing things up, side-by-side, for a few brief moments.

  |  @   |

During the ongoing Star Wars Celebration convention today, the first trailer for developer DICE and publisher Electronic Arts’ first-person shooter sequel Star Wars Battlefront II was unveiled.

The first game looked and felt about as Star Wars as any fan could have hoped, a remarkable technical accomplishment. But the game as a whole, especially considering they didn’t even bother making a single-player campaign, was a bit hollow. The follow-up however, has already been confirmed to include a single-player campaign. So we can only hope that it will be much closer to DICE’s Battlefield 1, only set in a galaxy far, far away.

  |  @   |

We’ve known since it was announced that Disney had signed an exclusive deal with video game giant Electronic Arts—not too long after acquiring Lucasfilm—that multiple new Star Wars games were on the way.

Multiple games are still on the way, but in the almost four years since that deal was announced only the new Battlefront has been released. While await more on those other games, it’s been revealed—believe it or not—that Star Wars: Battlefront 2 will in fact have a sing-player campaign.
