‘Be Here Now’ Trailer: The Story Of ‘Spartacus’ Star Andy Whitfield
  |  @   |

Way back in 2012 we found out about a documentary that was seeking funding via crowdfunding on Kickstarter. The documentary, titled Be Here Now, follows Spartacus: Blood and Sand star Andy Whitfield, along with his wife Vashti Whitfield and their children, as he battled cancer…a battle he would sadly lose. But while Whitfield is no longer with us he can still inspire many with this movie, which also tells a story of living your life to the fullest and taking advantage of each new day you have instead of fearing what tomorrow might hold.

Now, almost four years later, Be Here Now will be getting a release soon. You can find much more info on the film as well as check out an official trailer below.

If you’re like me, you were absolutely stunned to discover that Andy Whitfield, the 39-year-old star of the hit Starz series Spartacus: Blood and Sand, had lost his battle with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. What we didn’t know, however, is that Whitfield’s battle was being documented by Lilibet Foster (Academy Award nominee for 1999’s Speaking in Strings) in hopes of creating something special to inspire people who are in similar fights to the one Andy faced, and everyone else to get out there and live life to the fullest every single day.

The title of the documentary is Be Here Now, and you learn more about it and watch a trailer below.
