For the latest installment of their “Things You (Probably) Didn’t Know“ YouTube series, CineFix has dug up nine fun facts related to Beavis and Butt-Head Do America.
The animated movie starred and was co-written and co-directed by Mike Judge, and was based on his MTV animated comedy Beavis and Butt-Head. Some of the fun facts include voice actor cameos, problems with what producers wanted such as live-action over animated and Judge voicing the characters, and the always dreaded censorship (though it was probably for the best in this particular case).

Ever wondered what the recently revived MTV series Beavis and Butt-Head would look like in real life? Well…too bad, we’re going to show you anyway!
Special effects and make-up whiz Kevin Kirkpatrick is the man responsible for bringing the underachieving animated duo to life. If you’ve not heard the name before, you’ve most definitely seen his work. He’s done make-up work on the Friday the 13th, The Wolfman, and Nightmare on Elm Street remakes, as well as upcoming titles like The Avengers, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, and Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln (ironic, eh?). He’s done special effects work on TRON: Legacy, X-Men: First Class, Cowboys & Aliens, and upcoming titles like John Carter, Knights of Badassdom, Hansel and Gretel: With Hunters, and Man of Steel. Not to mention doing make-up and special effects work on both Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and Sucker Punch.
You can see what a man of this much talent’s take on a real-life Beavis and Butt-Head looks like by heading below now!
Not too long ago a near 5–minute special preview of the return of Beavis and Butt-Head was released online, and many fans of the idiotically hilarious ’90s animated hit series giggled with teenage nostalgia…myself very much included.
While it’s not quite as funny as said preview, MTV has released a new trailer for the show, and it’s still well worth taking a peek at. You’ll see some of the antics the eternally immature Beavis and Butt–Head get into, who they’ll be taking aim at, as well as a peek at some other returning characters.
Be sure to head on below now to check out the new trailer for Beavis and Butt–Head, which returns to MTV on October 27, 2011.
Note, this deal is valid only for today, Thursday, September 1, 2011, til midnight PST while supplies last.
