The Gods Smile Upon Us: Incredible 10-Minute ‘BioShock Infinite’ Demo Unveiled
  |  @   |

A brand new video has been released that showcases almost TEN full minutes of gameplay from a demo of BioShock Infinite that had previously been shown off to media outlets, which explains how some were able to describe aspects of a “demo” when we had only just seen the glorious first teaser trailer (Read: MUST WATCH! “˜BioShock 3″² Announced With “˜BioShock Infinite’ Trailer).

The game, currently being developed by original BioShock team Irrational Games, whisks us back to the floating city of Columbia in the year 1912. We play as a Pinkerton agent sent there to find and save a girl who had been kidnapped and kept there. Being a prequel, storylines should come into play setting up what we already know about the mythology, including in regard to Big Daddies and plasmids, which we’ve already been teased with.

We won’t take up too much of your time; you can click on over to the other side right now to watch the BioShock Infinite gameplay demo video!

Feast Your Eyes On These Brilliant ‘BioShock Infinite’ Game Informer Covers

It hasn’t been too long since the surprise teaser trailer for BioShock Infinite leaped onto the web and made us fans all very, very excited for more (Read: MUST WATCH! ‘BioShock 3’ Announced With ‘BioShock Infinite’ Trailer).

The prequel is set decades before our time spent in the underwater city of Rapture, in the year 1912. It tells the story of a Pinkerton agent sent to a floating city called Columbia to find a girl who’s been held captive there since she was a child.

Though we know very little about the new game thus far, more details are rapidly approaching. In the fall issue of Game Informer magazine, you can expect to read all about BioShock Infinite, which should be enough to pick up a copy. But if that’s not enough for some reason, the issue will feature three specially created covers dedicated to the game. The special covers were crafted to mimic the style of magazines of the time, and that true BioShock vibe.

To put it quite frankly, these covers are outstanding and not to be missed. You can check them out by heading over to the other side now!

MUST WATCH! ‘BioShock 3’ Announced With ‘BioShock Infinite’ Trailer
  |  @   |

As recently as yesterday, rumors started swirling about a big new announcement coming from Irrational Games. Many thought a new and original game reveal was on the way at the mysterious website What Is Icarus, but today it was revealed that new project was in fact what we all always want to hear but didn’t expect so soon: BioShock 3.

The thing about BioShock 3 is that it’s a prequel and will actually be called BioShock Infinite, and it does not look like we’ll be spending too much time in the oceans of the Atlantic. No, no — this time around, the game is set in the city of Columbia, a floating utopia instead of a submerged one. It takes place in 1912 — decades before the events of the first game — and you play as a Pinkerton agent on a mission to rescue a woman named Elizabeth, who’s been held captive there since childhood.

You don’t need me to tell you this, but rush over to the other side as quickly as possible for a synopsis and to see the trailer right now!
