Last week’s Arrow was one of my favorites, as former WWE wrestler, Cody Rhodes, joined the hall of villains as Sampson – a “stardust” dealer, who battled against the Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) in the handsomest fight in town. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) confessed her part in Haven Rock to Rory (Joe Dinicol). Diggle (David Ramsey) hallucinated Deadshot in the meanest audience trick, but wants to stay in jail for something he didn’t do, as penance for something he did – kill his brother. Lyla (Audrey Marie Anderson) was not having it, and went to get Oliver.

Arrow
Season 4 Episode 22: “Lost In The Flood”
Directed by Glen Winter
Written by Oscar Balderrama & Brian Ford Sullivan
Created by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg
Starring Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Emily Bett Rickards, John Barrowman, Paul Blackthorne
The CW
Air Date: Wednesday, May 18th, 2016, 8:00pm

Last week on Arrow, nuclear weapons started readying for a strike, seemingly on their own. Rubicon had started “Genesis.” Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) realized she needed her father Noah (Tom Amandes), the Calculator, to hack into the unhackable system. Darhk (Neal McDonough) realized that too, and it was a race for him. Oliver, Diggle, and Felicity (Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, and Rickards) won, and the computer geniuses were able to stop all but one missile for a 24-hour period (after Felicity got fired and they stole stuff – in that order). Lance (Paul Blackthorne) will also probably get fired for being honest about the Black Canary. Lonnie Machim (Alexander Calvert) showed up at the ark for revenge against Darhk. He tried to get Thea (Willa Holland) to stop being a follower. She kicked his ass (to Alex’s detriment).

Last week on Arrow, Felicity’s mom went expectedly overboard with wedding preparations. Merlyn (John Barrowman) is on Damian Darhk’s (Neal McDonough) team now, confirming that Lance (Paul Blackthorne) was the mole. Darhk sets a trap. His wife ambushes the Arrow gang who thought they were being so stealthy. Thea (Willa Holland) figures out Oliver (Stephen Amell) has a son. Curtis (Echo Kellum) designed an implant that would get Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) to walk again.

Last week on Arrow, Oliver (Stephen Amell) was having a really hard time with Felicity’s (Emily Bett Rickards) near death-ness and surgeries. He won’t go see her. He’s just obsessed with finding Damian Darhk (Neal McDonough). He gets a lead from Lance (Paul Blackthorne) but finds himself competing with Anarky (Alexander Calvert), who is really fun to watch. He has a crush on Thea (Willa Holland). Understandable, because she set him on fire. Crazy kids. Anarky takes Darhk’s family hostage, but the Scoobies save them. Turns out that Darhk’s wife is crazier than he is. Felicity’s final diagnosis is “will never walk again.”

TV Review: Arrow 4.8 “Legends Of Yesterday”

Arrow
Season 4 Episode 8: “Legends of Yesterday”
Directed by Thor Freudenthal
Written by Brian Ford Sullivan & Marc Guggenheim
Created by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg
Starring Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Emily Bett Rickards, John Barrowman, Paul Blackthorne, Caity Lotz
The CW
Air Date: Wednesday, December 2nd, 2015, 8:00pm

The second part of the 2-night crossover event aired tonight in the Arrowverse. Arrow, two weeks ago, had Diggle (David Ramsey) and his H.I.V.E, not-dead-just-brainwashed brother fighting, as his brother was part of Damian Darhk’s crew. Thea (Willa Holland) was able to cure her bloodlust temporarily (and accidentally) via Darhk (Neal McDonough). Last night on The Flash, Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) was introduced as the biggest bad of them all – a 4,000-year old immortal with a perpetual murderous focus on Hawkman and Hawkgirl (Falk Hentschel and Ciara Renee). Hawkgirl aka Kendra has to jump off a building to open herself up to her powers. Cisco (Carlos Valdes) is kinda pissed Hawkman is moving in on his girl. Dr. Wells and Caitlyn (Tom Cavanagh and Danielle Panabaker) develop a speed drug, which Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) has to take to save Dr. Wells life. Oliver (Stephen Amell) realizes he may have a kid. I have been waiting for this since season 2!

Do not proceed any further if you haven’t watched the “Legends of Yesterday” episode yet. Serious spoilers!
