It’s Christmas time at the 99, and everybody is getting into the spirit! Their holiday shows (and every show) are always a good time. For Thanksgiving on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, we got Nick Offerman and Terry’s (Terry Crews) baby being born… in a hospital! Trust me. If you haven’t watched that yet, you are missing out. For Christmas… we get one of Jake Peralta’s (Andy Samberg) dreams come true.

Thanksgiving is here on Brooklyn Nine-Nine! Charles (Jo Lo Truglio) comes in dressed like a turkey named Tommy Gobbler (shout out to Brooklyn’s P.S. 321). The episode is littered with “thanks” in the funniest way possible. The Internet is down which means everyone has to do a ton of paperwork all day, making the precinct hectic. But the biggest responsibility belongs to Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg), who needs to take care of a very pregnant Mrs. Jeffers, until Terry and Diaz (Terry Crews and Stephanie Beatriz) get back from interviewing someone at Rikers. His biggest job will be to keep Captain Holt away from her. He is always very weird around her like “those judgmental trees from Lord of the Rings.”

Happy Sunday everyone! It’s time to laugh, feel warm, and oh-so-squishy inside from the little life lessons these detectives impart upon us every week.
“Hitchcock just ate his own fish.” I wish I worked there. I would fit right in as a live laugh track.

I missed Brooklyn Nine-Nine so much last week! I did not have a hilarious Sunday without that and The Last Man On Earth. This is less a review and more a perpetual love letter to the funniest show on television.

Happy Halloween! The gang at the precinct on Brooklyn Nine-Nine have a tradition. Every year there is a fierce competition between Holt and Peralta (Andre Braugher and Andy Samberg). The winner is crowned “King of the 99.” The loser has to call the other, “an amazing detective/genius.” The first year, Jake won, the second… Holt. This is the year that truly decides king.
