In The Beginning is a great title for this particular issue. Battlestar Galactica #1 takes us back to the original series’ characters and their quest to find the legendary thirteenth colony known as Earth! But this is a tale that takes place between the episodes, exploring new territory. Quite literally!
This premiere issue starts off in crisis mode. An unexpected turn of events forces our “ragtag fugitive fleet” to take action most desperate. But as survival is their main objective, Commander Adama orders the others to follow closely as they all attempt to brave what few others would!

Ninjak #4 is a different kind of issue as the previous ones in the series. VERY different. If you’ve been enjoying the series, as I have, you’re going to either REALLY like this issue, or really NOT like this issue. Let me tell you what I thought.
Ninjak #3 Written by Matt Kindt

Ninjak #3 could not be better than issue #2 was. At least, that’s what I thought. For some reason the creative team seems to be on a mission to make each issue better than the last, just to spite me. Do you know how hard it is writing these reviews, when I keep having to say “this book can’t possibly get any better!”?

Chuck Dixon, now with illustrator Butch Guice, returns to Winterworld – his classic, post-apocalyptic tale. With issue #1 of this new ongoing series from IDW, we see a continuation of the original limited issue series that Dixon and Jorge Zaffino created. In the bleak future, survival is a moment-to-moment struggle.
Scully and his 14-year-old companion, Wynn, along with their badger, Rah-Rah, trek across the frozen, stormy Caribbean where they discover a ruined war ship. Upon searching the ship for anything of value, the group procures something that will make traveling a bit easier – something they’ll need as both natural and physical dangers quickly approach.
