We’ve seen plenty of videos of various fictional characters going head-to-head in a fight to see who would emerge the victor. But I’m not sure there’s ever been one as ridiculous as this one. Thankfully, it’s also super entertaining.
In the video, we get to see what might happen if legendary Star Wars villain Darth Vader crossed paths with a human-sized, more realistic, weaponized Buzz Lightyear from Pixar’s Toy Story.
You can find out how the battle plays out in the video below.
How much do I love Toy Story? Like many who grew up with the 1995 masterpiece that introduced us all to Pixar, I appreciated every little ounce of it. Its ridiculous amount of terrific quotes symbolizes one of those reasons. Many of us entertainment buffs gravitate to movie quotes because they are poignant, funny, universal, or sometimes all three. The Toy Story films possess a mix of these qualities and offer too many great quotes that can fit in one edition. Therefore, I am dividing up the 25 best quotes per film over several editions of Disney In Depth in the next few months.
Let’s metaphorically travel back to 1995 and recall the excitement upon hearing – and eventually quoting – these 25 brilliant lines from Toy Story for the first time.
Disney*Pixar has released a preview of the upcoming installment of Toy Story Toons, the series of shorts based in the Toy Story world.
The short is titled “Small Fry,” and sees Buzz Lightyear left behind at a fast food restaurant, where a therapy group for discarded toys is being held, and replaced by a miniature kids’ meal version of himself.
The new Toy Story short will run before The Muppets, which is set to be released on November 23.

I am a sucker for animation. From Saturday morning cartoons to epic feature films, I have always been drawn to the medium. Disney movies were staples in my household, and we owned a ton of them. In fact, my current DVD/Blu-Ray collection probably has its roots in how I felt when bringing home a new Disney movie on video. Not only did the package contain the film that I loved, but the glossy, white-rimmed boxes were different from all the other VHS cassettes we had. They were a sight to behold, and though the format has changed over the years, Disney has never disappointed in their home video releases. Always at the forefront of trends, Disney/Pixar’s release of Toy Story 2‘s 3D Combo Pack is a beautiful one.
