Predator Coming To Next ‘Call Of Duty: Ghosts’ DLC “Devastation” (Video)

Lots of people have gotten sick of Call of Duty games over the years, while many others have continued to faithfully purchase and enjoy each new installment. No matter which side you fall on, it’s hard to deny that the folks behind the games offer up some fun DLC content, especially when they integrate movie and TV characters.

When it comes to the movie characters, it’s usually a horror movie-related icon you’ll see. We’ve seen the Godfather of zombies George A. Romero and Freddy Krueger actor Robert Englund show up in a Call of Duty: Black Ops DLC offering. We’ve seen Michael Myers from Halloween make an appearance in one Call of Duty: Ghosts DLC. And now comes word that the next Ghosts DLC, “Devastation,” will feature the ultimate hunter, a Predator.

A very brief video tease was posted on the Call of Duty Instagram account with the sights and sounds you’d expect in something involving a Predator. And if that wasn’t enough to convince you, the words “If it bleeds…” accompany the video, which you can watch below.

Play As ‘Halloween’ Killer Michael Myers In New ‘Call Of Duty: Ghosts’ DLC (Video)

With every new Call of Duty release, players can expect DLC map packs that offer plenty of new content to check out if you’re into online multiplayer.

With the first map pack DLC for Call of Duty: Ghosts, which is titled “Onslaught,” a little something special for horror movie fan players is in store. In one of the maps, dubbed “Fog,” a horror movie-like map was created, complete with cabins in the woods. Even better, if you pull off a field order, you will become none other than Michael Myers from the John Carpenter classic Halloween.

‘Zelda,’ ‘Doctor Who’ Easter Eggs Found In ‘Call Of Duty: Ghosts’

Whether you love or hate the Call of Duty franchise, you have to appreciate a good geeky Easter Egg or two.

In the latest installment in the franchise titled Call of Duty: Ghosts, which just hit store shelves this week, someone found a small but excellent pair of Easter Eggs tipping their cap to both The Legend of Zelda and Doctor Who.

Official Gameplay Launch Trailer For ‘Call Of Duty: Ghosts’ Released

The next installment in the Call of Duty franchise, titled Call of Duty: Ghosts, hits store shelves on November 5, 2013.

We’ve seen the campaign trailer and the multiplayer trailer and gameplay demos, and now comes the official launch gameplay trailer.

The game follows an elite group of soldiers known as “Ghosts” who are leading the fight against a new global enemy following a massive world event that has changed everything.

Watch Now: Official Campaign Trailer For ‘Call Of Duty: Ghosts’ Has Gunfights In Space

We’ve already seen gameplay demos and a multiplayer trailer for the newest installment in the Call of Duty franchise, Call of Duty: Ghosts, and now comes an official trailer for the story campaign.

The campaign looks as you’d expect it to: big and action-packed, like a Michael Bay production. But one thing you might not expect is gunfights in space. That’s right, you’ll get to engage in some zero gravity combat. And yes, if you were wondering, that is possible.
