  |  @   |

The last two Star Wars films have set the December weekend opening box office number bar high. Both The Force Awakens and Rogue One had record-breaking numbers and exceeded all expectations.

  |  @   |

Those cute and cuddly porgs may be the thing that everyone is excited about, but they aren’t the only creatures we will be seeing in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. There are also those mysterious crystal foxes, which have gone virtually unnamed since we first saw them in the second trailer.

But in EW’s week-long coverage of the highly anticipated Star Wars film, we are learning more about these foxes. ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’: Admiral Holdo Creates Friction Within The Resistance
  |  @   |

Earlier this week, we got to see a handful of new photos for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and we learned quite a few things about it. Among those things is that there will be some infighting within the Resistance. The events of The Force Awakens have left the faction broken and scattered across the cosmos, and it will be up to General Leia (Carrie Fisher) and Admiral Holdo (Laura Dern) to put the pieces back together.

However, those same images are teasing the idea that Leia could pass down her power of leadership to Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), the Resistance’s ace pilot, and it appears that he and Holdo have very different ways of bringing an end to the war between themselves and the First Order. Find out more about Holdo’s role in the film in the full story below.

‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ TV Spot: Finn Was Raised To Fight
  |  @   |

Recent Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailers have been vague on the details of the plot of Rian Johnson’s latest film. Though we got a sense that Rey (Daisy Ridley) was on her way to becoming a Jedi, despite Luke Skywalker’s (Mark Hamill) reluctance and general pessimistic outlook for the Jedi Order, Finn (John Boyega) and Poe (Oscar Issac) journeys were just beginning. Now with the release of the film less than a month away, we can expect to see more from Star Wars: The Last Jedi in the form of TV spots. Just don’t expect them to reveal anything too spoilery. Even the TV spots are keeping some of the characters in the dark, as the latest one has Finn asking Poe what happened to Rey.
