Last week the new CW series, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow premiered, and it was a fun ride all the way. Time traveler Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) collected an assortment of good guys and bad guys from Star and Central City, to take down immortal crazyman, Vandal Savage (Casper Crump), in the past to prevent a catastrophic future. The Atom (Brandon Routh), White Canary (Caity Lotz), Firestorm (Franz Drameh and Victor Garber), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell), Hawkman (Falk Hentschel), and Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee) join him and go back to the 70s. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow premiered this evening, and it was as fun as everyone thought it would be. The premise is a geek dream – a motley assortment of villainous heroes, heroic villains, and heroic heroes assembled to travel through time to defeat Vandal Savage (Casper Crump), immortal world dictator. LoT blends Captain Cold, Heat Wave, Hawkgirl, Hawkman, and Firestorm (Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell, Ciara Renee, Falk Hentschel, Victor Garber & Franz Drameh from The Flash, with White Canary and Ray Palmer aka The Atom (Caity Lotz and Brandon Routh) from Arrow, pulled together by the captain of the timeship, Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill).

Watch DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow “Not Bad” & “One Chance” Trailers

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is almost here! The Flash and Arrow‘s legendary offspring arrives next Thursday, and everything that is released reveals more and more fun. Today’s trailers are right in line with what I highly suspect to be true. Although this crew has been tasked with saving the world and time itself, there’s always time for some fun. It’s a very Supernatural-y way to operate.

Check out the “Not Bad” & “One Chance” trailers below.

TV Review: Arrow 4.8 “Legends Of Yesterday”

Arrow
Season 4 Episode 8: “Legends of Yesterday”
Directed by Thor Freudenthal
Written by Brian Ford Sullivan & Marc Guggenheim
Created by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg
Starring Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Willa Holland, Emily Bett Rickards, John Barrowman, Paul Blackthorne, Caity Lotz
The CW
Air Date: Wednesday, December 2nd, 2015, 8:00pm

The second part of the 2-night crossover event aired tonight in the Arrowverse. Arrow, two weeks ago, had Diggle (David Ramsey) and his H.I.V.E, not-dead-just-brainwashed brother fighting, as his brother was part of Damian Darhk’s crew. Thea (Willa Holland) was able to cure her bloodlust temporarily (and accidentally) via Darhk (Neal McDonough). Last night on The Flash, Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) was introduced as the biggest bad of them all – a 4,000-year old immortal with a perpetual murderous focus on Hawkman and Hawkgirl (Falk Hentschel and Ciara Renee). Hawkgirl aka Kendra has to jump off a building to open herself up to her powers. Cisco (Carlos Valdes) is kinda pissed Hawkman is moving in on his girl. Dr. Wells and Caitlyn (Tom Cavanagh and Danielle Panabaker) develop a speed drug, which Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) has to take to save Dr. Wells life. Oliver (Stephen Amell) realizes he may have a kid. I have been waiting for this since season 2!

Do not proceed any further if you haven’t watched the “Legends of Yesterday” episode yet. Serious spoilers!
